Performance, Size and 3D Capability Perfectly Combined
With the Matrix 2.4, Pilot-RC expands its successful Matrix series with a model that offers the perfect balance between size, performance and everyday usability. The jet is large enough to make a strong impression in the air, while still being easy to transport and convenient to handle.
Development of the Matrix 2.4 began in early 2025 with a clear goal: to create a jet that delivers true 3D performance, while maintaining a size that remains practical for many pilots. Throughout the year several prototypes were built, flown and continuously refined. After extensive testing the final design was achieved – a jet that delivers exactly what you expect from a modern sport and 3D aircraft.
Equipped with a 220N turbine, the Matrix 2.4 has more than enough power reserves. Even when operating a smoke system, there is still plenty of thrust available for strong vertical performance and aggressive 3D maneuvers. Rolls, harriers, torque maneuvers or precise aerobatics – the Matrix feels comfortable in every flight attitude.
As the newest model in the Matrix series, the aircraft also introduces a completely new design direction. Tony Tan and Ryu explored numerous design concepts before working together with SIBA Design to create the final appearance. The result is a modern and dynamic color scheme that makes the jet highly visible in the sky and perfectly complements the aggressive lines of the aircraft.

Construction & Features
The Matrix 2.4 was designed with a strong focus on practical construction and easy setup.
The extremely lightweight full composite structure provides excellent strength while keeping the overall weight low. The model is painted outside the mold, resulting in a high-quality finish without visible seam lines.
Assembly at the flying field is quick and straightforward. The wings are equipped with quick-release mounts and can be installed completely without tools. The horizontal stabilizer also features a tool-free quick-release system.
A particularly practical feature is the two-piece fuselage, which greatly simplifies transportation. The two sections are connected with only four bolts, and the tail pipe is permanently installed in the rear fuselage section.
A spacious equipment board allows for a clean and well organized installation of the electronics. Most wiring can be neatly hidden inside the fuselage, and dedicated pre-installed cable ducts are provided for servo extensions.
For pilots looking for maximum 3D capability, the Matrix is optionally available with a vector thrust pipe.
Included Hardware
The kit includes:
Complete composite airframe
Carbon wing tubes
Pre-installed and painted fiberglass control horns
Electrical connector systems for wings and fuselage
Standard tail pipe (optional vector thrust pipe)
4,200 ml fuel bag
1,500 ml smoke oil bag (optional)
Pre-assembled pushrods with ball links
Servo connector brackets
Turbine Recommendation
The Matrix 2.4 is designed for a wide range of turbine sizes:
140 – 190 N
for dynamic sport flying
210 – 260 N
for 3D vector flight
When using larger turbines together with the vector system, extreme high-speed or high-G maneuvers should be avoided.
Servo Configuration
Standard size servos – 5 pieces
2 × flaps (minimum 48 kg)
1 × rudder (minimum 37 kg)
2 × ailerons (minimum 37 kg)
Medium size servos – 5 pieces
2 × elevators (minimum 21 kg)
1 × vector elevator (optional)
1 × vector rudder (optional)
1 × nose steering (minimum 16 kg)
Center of Gravity
Recommended center of gravity:
295 mm behind the leading edge of the wing
Measured without fuel and with landing gear extended.
The Matrix 2.4 is currently available in five different color schemes.
