Pilot-RC Matrix 90mm Foam Jet – one airframe, four versions
The Pilot-RC Matrix 90mm Foam Jet combines modern jet technology with exceptional versatility and a design focused throughout on performance. Developed for pilots who want both precise sport jet flying and dynamic aerobatics.
What makes it special: the Matrix comes in four versions – from a bare airframe for your own power system to a finished 3D jet with vector nozzle. And with the matching conversion kit it even runs on turbine power. One airframe that grows with its pilot.
Outstanding flight characteristics
The aerodynamically optimised design delivers high speed, convincing vertical performance and a direct feel on the sticks. At the same time the Matrix remains easy to control, which makes it equally suited to dynamic sport flying and demanding jet aerobatics.
With thrust vectoring, agility increases considerably: the model then opens up entirely new possibilities for extreme manoeuvres, high angles of attack and modern 3D jet flying.

Motor Ready
The airframe for pilots who assemble their own power system – electric or turbine. Servos, retracts and wing bag are already included. Not included: EDF unit, motor and ESC.
6S PNP Standard
The plug-and-play version for 6S, largely complete with a 90 mm EDF, 1950 KV motor and 130 A telemetry ESC. Only the radio system, receiver and flight battery are added. Recommended for sport and general flying.
8S PNP Standard
Same airframe, stronger drivetrain: a 1650 KV motor and a 130 A telemetry ESC covering 6–8S. The result is noticeable reserves in speed and climb. Recommended for higher performance and faster flight.
3D/Hover Electric
The full build for 3D and hover flying: a 12-blade aluminium 90 mm EDF, 1850 KV motor, 130 A telemetry ESC and a complete vector system with two servos. This lets the Matrix fly manoeuvres that a fixed nozzle cannot do. Power range 6–8S.
Turbine power – the two conversion kits
Choosing the Motor Ready version means the Matrix can be converted to turbine power. The kits are available separately; at their core they differ in the tail section – one with a fixed nozzle, one with thrust vectoring.

The turbine itself is not included in either kit.
Retrofitting the vector nozzle
Even if you start with a PNP version and the fixed nozzle, you stay flexible: the vector nozzle is available separately and can be fitted later. Moving from sport jet to 3D jet is possible at any time, without buying a new model.
Advanced telemetry
The integrated telemetry supports a range of modern radio systems and protocols:
- SBUS2
- EX BUS
- SRXL2
- CRSF
Depending on the radio system, various operating values can be monitored in real time: battery voltage, current, consumed capacity, ESC temperature, motor temperature, BEC current and motor RPM.

Important notes
Please read before ordering
- Batteries, transmitter, receiver and charger are not included in any version.
- The Motor Ready version includes neither EDF unit nor motor or ESC.
- No warranty applies to the 3D / hover combination, because the ESC and motor can reach very high temperatures. Temperatures must be kept below 140 °C in flight.
- Installing a turbine requires additional equipment and setup experience.
