The Pilot-RC Sbach 342 V2 103″ marks the return of one of Pilot-RC’s most iconic giant-scale aerobatic aircraft in a completely redesigned version. Building on the outstanding success of the original 107″ Sbach 342, the new V2 combines the legendary smooth and balanced flying characteristics of its predecessor with the precision, agility, and performance demanded by today’s XA and 3D aerobatic pilots.

First introduced in 2011, the original Sbach 342 quickly became a true icon. Its modern appearance, exceptional all-around flight performance, and uncompromising Pilot-RC quality made it one of the most respected giant-scale aerobatic aircraft of its time. Even today, it remains a favorite among pilots and is widely regarded as one of the classic aircraft in the Pilot-RC lineup.

Developed by the Pilot-RC engineering team and extensively refined through a comprehensive flight-testing program, the new Sbach 342 V2 combines advanced materials, innovative engineering, and numerous design improvements to create a high-performance aircraft for the 100–130cc class.

Recommended Power System

• 100–130cc gasoline engine or an equivalent electric power system

Servo Requirements

Recommended configuration:

• 5 high-torque servos plus one throttle servo
• 2 servos per aileron
• 1 servo per elevator half
• 1 servo for the rudder

In addition, standard RC equipment such as a transmitter, receiver, propeller, batteries, power distribution system, extension leads, and other installation accessories are required.

For optimum performance, Pilot-RC recommends the following components:

• Servos: Pilot-RC PW48AH (48 kg @ 8.4 V / 0.11 s)

Dedicated repair kits are available for the Sbach 342 V2 103″ to simplify repairs after typical airframe damage.

Available repair kits include:

• Landing gear repair kit for the landing gear mounting area

Please note that additional individual wooden airframe parts outside these repair kits are not available separately.
