The bag tanks are made of polyethylene with a total of 3 layers. The outer layer serves as protection, shaping and fastening for the inner tank bag. The inner bag is used to hold the fuel and is made of 2 layers. The tanks are manufactured using a tried and tested welding process. The bag tank can withstand a total pressure of over 650 mbar. At these pressures, the bag feels smooth and soft to the touch. This pressure corresponds to the normal operating limits. The content specifications refer to 40mBar, which is the normal and recommended tank pressure for a regular tank system.
